The area

Nature is basically at our doorstep. The fact that we are not in the city center and that we are on a higher position, allows us to have a nicer temperature than the rest of Barcelona, especially in the summer, as there is usually a nice breeze and clean air.

Our location is ideal for running lovers. If you like running, wether you are a pro or just a beginner, our location next to Carretera de les Aigües will offer you the opportunity to go running in the most demanded area of Barcelona. Over 15km of flat trail for you to go running, cycling or just walking. This road is famous for the amazing views it offers, as well as the clean air, trees and fountains.

Our location in the entrance of Collserola Park brings you the possibility to explore Barcelona beyond the cement. Collserola is the lung of the city, a green protected area with many hikes and hidden places to discover.

Of course if you come to Barcelona there are so many places that are a MUST. From here, you are within easy access to Parc Güell (from Gaudí) or CosmoCaixa, the science museum that we strongly recommend especially if you come with children.

You can go up to Tibidabo to enjoy the views from the top-top, there is a very interesting church, and you can walk  to the Collserola Tower, built to improve the communications for the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992.

The center is only 20-30 minutes away by public transport, so really not so far to be able to enjoy all the great architechture and culture the city has to offer. If you are tired in the evening and don’t wish to use public transport, a taxi is always a good option and not so expensive (normally between 10 and 20 EUR depending where you are and the time).

There are a few bars and clubs near us that offer a cool place to go for a drink and some dancing in the evening. They also offer espectacular views of the city. You may check out the recently renovated Mirabé and Mirablau, as well as the more traditional Merbeyé.

If you are a foodie, there are a few restaurants near us that are worth a visit. From Michelin star restaurant Àbac, or more traditional Castilian cuisine like Asador de Aranda, or market cuisine like La Venta, a classic in Barcelona.

During the summer, it is possible to have “Dinner under the stars” at the Fabra Observatori, very close from us.

There are several hospitals nearby. If you are coming to Barcelona for a medical appointment or even for IVF, the relax and nice atmosphere of our B&B will be perfect for you.
